Computer giant Microsoft   is  going  to stop their services for  windows xp which is world wide popular  operating system   coming april 2014 onwards.Many banks  and atms still they are using this windows xp.

If Microsoft stops support for  windows xp updates and  patches will be stop.so there is no security for this operating system windows xp.so Reserve  Bank of india(RBI)  give direction to all banks  to change their operating systems if it is windows xp.

Now latest ersions windows 7 and windows  8 available in the market.

In 2001 windows introduced this windows xp and  Microsoft  ready to stop support for xp  from APRIL 8^TH onwards.All over the world  nearly 95% banks still they are using windowsxp.Security wise it is big risk to continue with  windows xp.

So hurry up banks and ATMS  to change their windows xp operating systems.
